Jiva Counsellors comprise a team of professionals from varied disciplines including psychology, social work, education, management, human development and counselling.  They all hold post graduate degrees in their respective specialisations and have many years of experience in working with children, adolescents and their families.  

All Jiva Counsellors have gone through extensive training in the theoretical and practical aspects of career psychology.   

Licensed Jiva Counsellors have the added qualification of having undergone rigorous field practice under the supervision of senior career psychologists from the Jiva Core Team.  They are licensed to implement the psychometric tools of the Jiva Programme and work in close partnership with the Jiva Core Team. They are also qualified to work with the Core Team to generate Jiva individual career reports,  interpret the career report and counsel parents and students directly.  These counsellors regularly update their qualifications and licenses. 

Jiva Associates are those who work closely with the Jiva team to implement career guidance in their institutions.  Many of our Associates were a part of Jiva from its inception and tested and vetted the Jiva system.  Some of them continue to assist the Jiva team when the programme is implemented in other languages such as Tamil, Kannada or Hindi.
