Arriving in India

For better or for worse, India has fairly strict regulations controlling entry into the country. Please ensure that your visa and other documentation are in order before your leave your home.

All registered delegates will receive, via email, a Letter of welcome from the Conference Chair and your Conference Registration Document. You will need these documents for your visa application.

We have selected key locations in the Government of India's Ministry of External Affairs website for reliable information that will facilitate a safe and happy time for you in India. Please check this information and prepare accordingly.

Arriving in Bangalore

Bangalore has a brand new International Airport that allows you to arrive directly at the Jiva conference location (well, almost!) from most parts of the world. You can clear customs and immigration at the Bangalore International Airport.

Do remember that the airport is nearly 40 kilometres outside the city.

If you have made arrangements with - Cox & Kings our official Travel Agent, an agency representative will receive you at the airport and facilitate your transfer to the city and your hotel.

Alternatively, the airport offers a reliable service of buses and taxis to the city. Be sure to take a government approved taxi service!
